Nature has fascinated and inspired artists and scientists, as observers of life, since time immemorial. Botany: describing plants, deciphering their behavior, discovering their properties, building collections and inventories led to a detailed knowledge of the plant kingdom and at the same time to artistic gems in historical herbariums, among others. All this knowledge, beyond phytology, still represents an enormous source of inspiration today and offers numerous opportunities for contemporary artistic expression.
