The Ypres museum, the academy, cultural center and art galleries invite you to, “Art in Ypres.”   

During this weekend, art takes center stage in multiple forms.  We invite Ypres people, but also art lovers from outside Ypres, to come and experience art in the city. 

The galleries can be visited during this weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. On Friday evening there will be a nocturne (night event) from 6pm to 9pm

Their project was titled “Impossible.” With the advent of virtual reality and social media, in short the digital age, the possibilities seem endless. But isn’t there a danger in that? Friday, Saturday and SundayMerghelynck museumThe students of the painting, word and ceramics studio of Dé Academie present their creations in the Merghelynck Museum.
They drew inspiration for their works from the versatile collection of Arthur Merghelynck. The classical singing students take you back to the 18th century.
